A Snowballs Chance, Restart Smart thinking for getting past mistakes, second guesses and regrets.

We have all heard the phrase he/she doesn’t have a snowballs chance in (fill in the blank). Well as you might imagine we disagree.
By virtue of reaching Midlife you have, by the very act of living made some bone head mistakes. (Or are we the only ones?) Take a moment, reflect…. and yup now you remember. Notice how that nice feeling you had has now disappeared? How would you like to change the past? Well you have a snowballs chance (you know the rest), of that happening.
Your life, it is what it is, but only for a moment. You see we want you to believe that a snowballs chance is a positive statement. (No we are not filled with warm and fuzzy pharmaceuticals) but we do have common sense just like you. We also share with you (though you might not realize it yet) a belief that life is not perfect and many a day we would have loved a snowballs chance for things to work out.

A Snowballs chance tip #1: The times you thought that things did not work out right, perhaps they did! We just didn't see it that way at the time.

Would you not agree that life is a series of actions, some of which you have no control over? That engaging in a snowballs chance thinking can cloud your rational thinking.
Unlike you (we’re being nice) we have made mistakes; oh we should have known that wasn’t going to work. Sound familiar? How about when (If I had only taken a chance I could be such and such today). Don’t you remember you floated that chancy idea to friends back then but everyone said, it doesn’t have a snowballs chance of working?

Alright we have an action plan for you to understand that you’re great that the past is the past and all you have is now.

A snowballs chance tip #2: stand up and start wringing your hands. Good job see how it doesn’t make you feel any better?

A Snowballs chance tip # 3: Run over to the mirror and shout at the fool you see looking back at you. You recognize the face. That’s the person who somehow should have foreseen the future and not made that stupid decision. Not feeling better yet?

A Snowballs chance tip # 4: Walk outside, slump your shoulders, hang your head and yell out loud for all to hear. I could have done better in life but everyone knew I couldn’t and I agreed.

This is not the best course of action you could take. Will these steps change your life, no there’s not a snowballs chance.

Instead realize that even if your past was as bad as you think it was, the only power you have, is to change your future. Yes and you have more than a snowballs chance of that occurring.

Restart Smart thinking suggests that you have been unfair to yourself for a long time. That time is now past. Set realistic goals with the attitude that you will succeed. Remember life is all about living and living is all about taking risks.

Who knows you might even have a snowballs chance
